Aurora looking north down street in front of my place [16 Sept 2003]

Beautiful pictures it is unbelieveabl that such as these can be captured on digital. Is the Aurora displayed everynight during a certian time of year or does such beauty only display at random times. If random are they predicatable, I am thinking about taking at trip to Anchorage just to view the Aurora. Thanks for sharing. Mark
