Burnett M. Schultz (Burnie), 69 of Anchorage, AK, formerly of West Mifflin
Pennsylvania, died November 25, 2012 in Anchorage with his family by his side
He relocated to Anchorage in 1970. He was a field engineer rep for NCR until he
retired in 1992. Burnie was a recipient of a liver transplant in 1995 and was a
participant and volunteer for the U.S. Transplant Olympic Games around the U.S.
for the past 17 years. He love taking pictures of scenery and wildlife in Alaska
and won some awards for his pictures. He belongs to many Bowling Leagues in the
area and was a long time bike rider in Anchorage. Burnies' ashes were spread
over Portage Glacier, one of his favorite spots for taking pictures. There will
be a memorial service held in Anchorage at a later date. In memory, donations
can be made to the Liver Transplant Society.
